Barca considered Kudus signing and keeping tabs on him

| sport

Ajax winger Mohammed Kudus is one of the players who has been in Barça's orbit following the departure of Ousmane Dembélé. The coaching staff and the sporting area considered him a valid option for the Blaugrana attack due to his power on the left flank and a possible arrival was considered, but the financial agreement is impossible. Barça offered either a deferred payment or a loan with an option to buy, but the Dutch value the winger at more than 40 million euros.

Kudus is an explosive player with a good left foot. The Ghana international has earned a place in the starting eleven and is a player who is a difference maker with an eye for goal and assists. At 23, he is already one of the most sought-after players in the Dutch league and Ajax are only willing to part with him in the form of a sale for a fee in excess of 40 million euros. Several Premier League clubs have enquired about him, but no firm offers have been forthcoming.

Barça have also contacted his entourage and it is likely that, if he does not leave this summer, the winger will be 'well-controlled' for future operations. Ajax and Barça have a very good relationship and there have already been several transfers in recent years in a spirit of mutual collaboration. In fact, the Ajax school is very much appreciated at the Blaugrana club and they understand that Kudus is a player who would assimilate well the Blaugrana positional game.

The Blaugrana, with serious problems registering players, are very clear that they will only be able to bring in one offensive player on loan and everything points to it being Joao Félix if they get optimal economic conditions for the player. Kudus is already seen as a bet for the future, even though anything can happen in the last days of the market.
