Ajax winger Mohammed Kudus is one of the players who has been in Barça's orbit following the departure of Ousmane Dembélé. The coaching staff and the sporting area considered him a valid option for the Blaugrana attack due to his power on the left flank and a possible arrival was considered, but the financial agreement is impossible. Barça offered either a deferred payment or a loan with an option to buy, but the Dutch value the winger at more than 40 million euros.
Kudus is an explosive player with a good left foot. The Ghana international has earned a place in the starting eleven and is a player who is a difference maker with an eye for goal and assists. At 23, he is already one of the most sought-after players in the Dutch league and Ajax are only willing to part with him in the form of a sale for a fee in excess of 40 million euros. Several Premier League clubs have enquired about him, but no firm offers have been forthcoming.
