Xavi was speaking with regards to Ansu possibly returning in Munich next week

In his press conference before Barcelona-Real Betis at Camp Nou on Saturday, Xavi Hernandez lamented being unable to count on Ansu Fati for his side's upcoming 'finals."

After Betis, Barça travel to Bayern Munich with their Champions League future on the line, but Xavi says they won't take more risks with Ansu or any other player "even though every game is a final."

In that sense,e Xavi wanted to send a message in terms of the club's poor management of injuries this season, which has seen him push for the return of Dr. Ricard Pruna.

"Ansu is making a huge effort to get back but we have to be careful," he explained. "We don't want to lose him again and the important thing is that he's 100 percent.

"Tomorrow and Wednesday we have vital games and when he's 100 percent he will be back. But we can't lose more players. We have forced players back before when we shouldn't have and it's backfired. I prefer to be cautious. It won't be easy for him to play in Munich."
