The Catalan coach landed at the International Airport at 19:30 EDT, after a delay of more than a week

At long last, Xavi Hernandez joins the Barça squad on their tour in the United States. The coach took a transatlantic flight from Madrid and landed at Miami International Airport at 19:30 EDT.

Sergi Nogueras, the club's press officer, was awaiting him at the Fort Lauderdale hotel, where the rest of the Barça crew were already staying. Many fans as well were eagerly awaiting his arrival in Miami. After several tense days, owing to a problem with his visa, he can now breathe a sigh of relief, and take the helm for the remaining three matches in North America.

Xavi will be in Miami for only a few hours, with Barça set to travel towards Las Vegas at eleven o'clock in the morning this Thursday. Once in Nevada, the team will resume training under the Catalan. Xavi will also return to the bench in the El Clássico to be played on Saturday night against Real Madrid, at the Allegiant Stadium. We can expect an electric atmosphere with the stadium boasting thrice the capacity of the Drive Pink Stadium of Inter Miami. Following that, the team will head to Dallas and finally New York, where the U.S. tour will end, on July 31.
