Koeman says Ramos should have given a penalty away against Eibar for handball

Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has complained about refereeing decisions once again. The Dutchman is annoyed because a penalty was not given against Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos when he handles the ball in his side's win over Eibar on Sunday.

"I don't understand it," Koeman said in a press conference on Monday. "I said after our game against Real Madrid, I don't want to repeat it. Nine of 10 people would have given the penalty. We know that."

Ronald Koeman didn't want to fall into the trap laid out by the press anymore and also refused to reply to comments made by Madrid president Florentino Perez over the weekend.

Perez said that Madrid were not favoured by VAR but instead penalised. "Better not to respond," Koeman said.

Pressed more by the press on the Ramos incident against Eibar, Koeman added: "I can give my opinion like everyone can and I can say that for me it is a penalty.

"The referee and his team and the VAR decided the opposite. I respect that because it's not an easy job, but if you ask me, it's a penalty."

Madrid won the game 3-1 in the end having raced into a 2-0 lead early on. However, their third goal arrived in the final minute of the game after Eibar had pushed for an equaliser in the second half.
