The Dutch coach could leave at the end of the season despite Copa success

Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman acknowledges his future will come under the spotlight after his side blew their title hopes on Tuesday at Levante.

Koeman's Barça side led 2-0 at the break and 3-2 late in the second half before drawing 3-3 to leave Atletico Madrid firmly in the hot seat at the top of the table.

The result could spell the end for Koeman and the Dutch coach admitted he understands the position he finds himself in.

"There are always questions about coaches, that won't change," Koeman said when asked if he feared for his job now. "But after that second half, I understand there will be questions, of course."

On the dropped points, he added: "Sometimes it's difficult to explain [what happened]," Koeman added when asked what went wrong.

"Analysing the game, in the first half we were good, there was a good rhythm with the ball, good intensity. We created chances to score, and we went in 2-0 up.

"At the start of the second half, we lost the ball more, our intensity dropped and we switched off defensively. It's difficult to reverse that one you've let them back into the game, as we did with three goals in 35 minutes."
