The Polish striker is a transfer target for the Blaugrana this summer

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez and Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski both dined at the same Ibiza restaurant on Wednesday night.

Xavi and Lewandowski, who is Barça's No.1 summer transfer target, were both at Lio, which also puts on  live cabaret shows and DJ sets on the island.

The duo arrived separately at the venue, an exclusive club next to the port that serves international food, accompanied by groups of friends.

The chance meeting between Xavi and Lewandowski was revealed by Jijantes, who published images on social media of the moment in which they both turned up at Lio.

It is unknown if they were able to exchange many words, but, presumably, they will have found a moment to comment on the current status of the transfer, which has developed into one of the 'soap operas' of the summer.

Lewandowski has said it actively and passively that he wants to leave Bayern Munich after eight seasons with the German club. He has a contract until 2023 but wants to move to Barcelona now.
