The journalist Lluís Canut, a friend of the Barça coach, spoke to 'El Partidazo de COPE'

As SPORT revealed, Ronald Koeman is beginning to be questioned by the dressing room. In principle, because of his fixation on playing 4-2-3-1, a system the players feel does more damage than good in terms of getting the best out of them. But despite the bad results, the Dutch coach feels strong and remains optimistic.

According to the journalist Lluis Canut, who has a long personal relationship with Koeman, the Barça boss "is optimistic, he hasn't lost hope and his mood hasn't been hit."

Canut continued in an interview with  'El Partidazo de COPE': "Ronald doesn't understand people's disappointment because the team are in the last 16 of the Champions League."

In a separate interview with La Porteria de Betevé, Canut also revealed that Koeman's initial intention in the summer was to sign Inter Milan's Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.
