Barça B sign Mike van Beijnen... the son of De Jong's agent!
The academy team has confirmed the signing of the full back on a free transfer after his contract expired with NAC Breda
Barça B have confirmed their second signing of the summer. After the arrival of Ludovit Reis, the latest name through the door is that of Mike van Beijnen. He's a 20-year-old full back who spent last season with NAC Breda's U21 side. Curiously, van Beijnen is the son of Frenkie de Jong's agent Ali Dursun. In fact, the two played together in the youth categories at Willem II.
Mike van Beijnen has already passed his medical and signed a two-year contract. His buyout clause is €100m. The youngster posed with his new shirt which, ironically, is actually last season's shirt rather than the new one for the 2019/20 season.
