Barça B players join first team ahead of Champions League return
J. Cuenca, Mingueza, Jandro, Monchu & Konrad all trained with the first team on Wednesday
On Wednesday, Barcelona returned for a double session as they stepped up preparations for the Champions League game against Napoli on Aug. 8.
Among those called up for training were a number of Barça B players. J. Cuenca, Mingueza, Jandro, Monchu and Konrad were all involved in the workout led by Quique Setien.
They are back from Barça B's failed promotion bid having reached the playoff final before losing 2-1 to Sabadell, who were instead promoted to the Spanish second tier.
Also training from the B team were, as usual, Riqui Puig and Ansu Fati.
Barça host Napoli for a place in the last eight of the Champions League. They drew the first leg in Italy 1-1 and if they progress will fly to Lisbon for the quarterfinals and, depending on how they do, the semifinals and the final, which will all be one-off games.
