Barça B lose striker Abel Ruiz for the next six weeks
The forward was injured in a training session on Friday
Barcelona B will be without Abel Ruiz for the next six weeks with a hamstring problem, the club confirmed on Sunday.
Striker Ruiz sustained the injury during training on Friday and will miss Sunday's game against Badalona.
The 18-year-old, who's scored twice in 11 outings in the third division this season, will not play again until the New Year.
"Abel Ruiz suffered some problems during training on Friday," Barça said in a statement.
"Following medical tests, it's been confirmed that he is suffering a hamstring problem. He will be out for around six weeks."
With Ruiz missing, Barça will likely play Rafa Mujica as the lone forward, although moving Carles Perez inside is also an option.
