The Blaugrana have have been in contact with the player's brother
Seri wants to move to Camp Nou and next week could see a breakthrough
Barcelona have now made contact with Jean Michael Seri to ask him to be patient. They've assured the midfielder of their interest and that they will keep him informed of their movements. They've committed to making a decision in the coming days and could make their first offer next week after working on their top targets. Seri has offers, but his objective is to wait for Barça.
Barça have moved well with Seri and have been speaking with his people for months. Sporting director Robert Fernandez has maintained contact with the player's brother, who is in charge of the negotiations. The communication is fluid and Barça know first hand of the player's desire to come to Camp Nou.
The Catalan club have now seem to have decided not to let him escape. Seri had an excellent season with Nice and his first games of the summer have been spectacular. He was a key part of knocking Ajax out of the Champions League and has another test against Napoli now. Barça are keen to see how he gets on in that game and could then start talks.
There has also been interest in Seri from Roma and PSG. But he wants to sign for Barça, who have also not given up on Paulinho.
