Valverde and his players landed in the Spanish capital on Friday

The early kick off prompted them to travel the day before the game

Barcelona arrived in Madrid on Friday night ahead of Saturday's Clasico, which will get underway at 13.00 local time in the Spanish capital.

Ernesto Valverde and his coaching staff, as well as his 18 man squad, flew from Barcelona and upon arrival in Madrid they made their way to the Hotel Eurostars Madrid Tower, where they are spending the night.

Despite all training this week, none of Rafinha, Gerard Deulofeu or Ousmane Dembele made the matchday squad -- the former two have been cleared to return to action, though.

Barça will breakfast on rice, pasta and white meat in the morning before heading to the Santiago Bernabeu for the early kick off.

A win will move them 14 points clear of Real Madrid, albeit having played a game more, and nine ahead of Atletico Madrid, who lost for the first time in La Liga this season to Espanyol on Friday.
