Barca are the La Liga team that bets on youngsters the most

Barcelona are the team that give the biggest chance to young players in La Liga, according to CIES Football Observatory.
The report included 999 clubs from 71 divisions and Barca lead the top Spanish side with 15% of the minutes going to players under 21 years of age.
The average age of the squad is 26.2. Ronald Koeman’s faith in youngsters was reflected by the data.
Players like Pedri, Dest, Mingueza, Ansu and Araujo have been key at various points and all played a lot when fit.
There are some other clubs in Europe ahead of them though
Borussia Dortmund lead the way with 28.5% of the minutes going to youngsters, ahead of Nice, where 24.3% did, among other sides.
Just look at Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, one of the best strikers in Europe already and a big name for the transfer market this summer.
