Valverde has taken every member of the first team squad with him for the clash against Sevilla tonight

FC Barcelona have already flown out to Tangier for the Spanish Super Cup match against Sevilla at the Grande Stade.

Ernesto Valverde, who has said it'll be more difficult in a one-off match, has taken all of the available first team members with him to the Moroccan city. Even the injured pair, Denis Suarez and Carles Aleña, as well as the suspended Sergi Roberto are amongst the group as are academy standout performers Miranda and Riqui Puig.

The situation between the two clubs could be described as frosty. Sevilla are upset about various matters, including: the match being played in Tangier, that it's a one-off match and most recently because of the RFEF confirming there's no limit as to how many non-EU players can be used. Sevilla feel this is favouritism towards Barcelona, who have too many non-EU members in their squad, and are threatening to take legal action if Barça use more than three.

Barça flew out of the El Prat airport at 10:30am and arrived at the Tangier airport at around 11:00am. From there they will carry on to the Hotel Movenpick where they'll stay until they have to travel to the stadium.

Barcelona aren't expected to stay in Morocco and will instead fly back to Spain immediately following the conclusion of the match.

The RFEF also posted a tweet welcoming the two sides, as well as their supporters, to Tangier ahead of this evening's contest:
