The player's father has admitted Barcelona are interested in the youngster

Stefan Mitrovic, the great promise of Serbian football, is reportedly on Barça's radar. The talented 20-year-old is one of the young players that the Catalan club are tacking and the reports they have on him are favourable, although no decision has been taken on his signing.

The player's father confirmed on Twitter that the Blaugrana are after his son: "As a father, I have to say yes Barça in in contacts with us -- same as few other big clubs."

Mitrovic, 20, is one of the most followed players in Serbian football and the Red Star Belgrade's general director has already confirmed that they have several offers on the table.

"We have had offers from three very important clubs -- offers exceeding six million euros, but we haven't sold him," Zvezdan Terzić said.

Mitrovic only joined Red Star last year from Radnicki Nis in the final days of the summer market. He has already played official matches for both teams so he could not be transferred again in January -- you cannot play for three clubs in one calendar season.

The young Red Star player usually plays as a left winger and is good one-on-one. He has a lot of quality with his left foot and his crosses are dangerous.

He has scored five goals this season and stood out in the Europa League, which has attracted the attention of Europe's biggest sides.
