FC Barcelona's communications department have confirmed that Eric Abidal's instagram account has been hacked. This comes after an earlier post included a Johan Cruyff quote which many assumed was directed at Matthijs de Ligt: "If a person has doubts about playing for Barça, we don't need him."
As talks over a move for de Ligt have reached something of an impasse, this comment was seen as Abidal preparing Barça fans for bad news. The player's agent is currently in Paris where he will meet with PSG's director of football Leonardo.
