Barça and Real Madrid join the race to sign N'Golo Kanté
Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG are all trying to sign Kante, according to 'Le Parisien'
Chelsea's midfield lynchpin, N'Golo Kante, is the latest player to attract the interest of both Real Madrid and Barcelona. According to 'Le Parisien', the two Spanish heavyweights will enter the bidding war for Kante, currently at Chelsea, as they look to reinforce their respective midfields this summer. PSG are also set to enter this bidding war as they look to add yet another superstar to their ranks following last season's acquisitions of Neymar and Mbappe.
'La Parisien' claim that Real Madrid are currently in pole position to land the services of Kante. The midfielder, who cost Chelsea just €30m when he signed from then Premier League champions Leicester City, is valued at around €90m by the London club.
Barcelona have tried to tempt Kante to join them by inviting some of his family members to the Camp Nou for the final few matches of last season. However, it appears they are still some way behind Real Madrid who see Kante as their 'new Makelele'.
