Junior Firpo’s departure to Milan is closer. Negotiations between the clubs are not flowing but there have been some advances made in recent days. Both clubs will have to concede some ground.
Barca wanted to sell the defender while Milan wanted him on loan without an obligatory option to buy. The Blaugrana have received some offers from the Premier League but Junior wants to go to Italy.
The Italian side are now willing to loan with an obligatory buy clause provided the price is accessible. Barca will have to accept a lower fee than they want. It seems increasingly likely that a deal will be reached.
