Aubameyang trains with new Barcelona teammates for first time

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang now knows what it's like to represent Barcelona. At least in terms of training. The Gabon striker trained with his new teammates for the first time on Tuesday. The club have still not officially confirmed he's signing, but he's already got to work under the orders of new coach Xavi Hernandez, who finally gets the striker he wanted after missing out on Alvaro Morata.

Aubameyang met his new teammates on Tuesday. He presented himself one by one to each member of the squad, although such formalities were not necessary with Ousmane Dembele. The two have maintained a good relationship since they spent time at Borussia Dortmund together and were barely apart during the session.

The former Arsenal forward trained at the same rhythm of his teammates despite various weeks out of action after leaving the Gabon camp at the African Cup of Nations.

Barça are expected to make the announcement official on Tuesday evening. He is likely to take the No.25 shirt and everything indicates he will have a contract until 2023.
