The Portugal forward has said he would love to join the Catalan club

Joao Félix has offered to leave Atletico Madrid and sign for FC Barcelona. He told Fabrizio Romano: "I would love to play for Barça. Barcelona has always been my first choice and I would like to join them. It has been my dream since I was a kid. If it happens, if I can sign for Barça, it will be a dream come true."

The Portuguese forward, who joined Atletico for more than 120 million euros, has never adapted to Diego Simeone's demands and, after his six-month loan spell at Chelsea, is now looking for a new outlet to resume his meteoric career. He is only 23 years old and is looking for a chance to show all the football he has only shown in flashes at the Metropolitano.

However, his exit will not be easy. He is by far the most expensive signing in Atletico's history and, if he were to leave in the form of a transfer, the figure would be big. He has lost value due to his constant substitutions with Simeone and his unsatisfactory experience in London, but he is still a differential player with a huge projection.

The formula of a loan seems the most likely for a hypothetical exit. Barça are not at their best financially, but the transfer market is long and we will see what happens. For the moment, Felix has offered himself to Barça.
