Atletico Balaeras 6-2 Barcelona B: Reality check for Barjuan's boys
A second half brace from Jutgla salvaged some pride on a tough morning for the reserves
Barcelona B's four-game winning run came to a halting end on Sunday as they were thumped 6-2 by Atletico Balaeras.
Sergi Barjuan's side would have moved to withing a point of playoff place with a win but were instead given a reality check by the islanders, who climbed to fourth in the table.
Balaeras took Barça apart in a brutal first half, opening the scoring in the fourth minute and scoring again after 11 and 16 minutes.
Two more goals followed before half time, with Manuel Martinez completing a hat-trick, and the home side went into the break with a 5-0 lead.
Ferran Jutgla pulled one back after the break before Balaeras restored their five-goal lead, with Jutgla adding a second with five minutes to play.
