The Athletic: Christensen's feasible but complicated summer departure
Barça may be tempted to listen to offers for a player who arrived for free
Andreas Christensen is one of FC Barcelona's best signings in recent years. Without making much noise, working quietly, the Dane has gone from being a 'low cost' addition to a key player for Xavi in the centre of the back line. So much so that he has been an undisputed starter in recent matches.
However, according to 'The Athletic', sources at the Catalan giants believe that it would be "very difficult to resist" in the event of a good offer arriving in the summer because it would help with the financial fair-play.
But they also know that Xavi would not authorise this operation on a sporting level and they see it as complicated to imagine that he could leave in the next window.
