The Chilean celebrated his move to Barcelona with his family in Munich

Arturo Vidal celebrated his first day as a Barcelona player. And he did it in the way he likes most, spending the day with his family. The Chilean midfielder spent the entire day in his house Grunwald, a posh suburb of Munich. SPORT went to Vidal’s house but Arturo preferred not to let himself be seen and instead spent time with his children in the garden.

Club and player have been in contact permanently and it’s foreseen that tomorrow Vidal will head to Barcelona from Munich. The formula when he arrives will be the same as normal: first the photograph with the club badge, then the medical tests. Arturo had a tough season because of injury but he’s been working hard to get back to full fitness.

After the medicals he will be presented at Camp Nou and then have his presentation press-conference. The Chilean was loved by his team-mates at Bayern and they have been giving him nice farewell messages on social media.

Vidal is thinking about his debut. He wants to play in the Spanish Super Cup against Sevilla next Sunday. The midfielder knows it’s hard given he has not had pre-season with Barcelona. But Messi, Alba, Pique and Busquets also have been working by themselves at Barca, not on the tour.
