Arturo Vidal does a Sergio Ramos: We got the three points
The Chilean made the slip up after Wednesday's Copa del Rey game
Arturo Vidal started the Copa del Rey game against Cultural Leonesa and after the game declared: "We're happy because we have got the three points." But the Chilean was playing in the cup, when there's no such thing as three points, although it is a two-legged tie.
It's not the first time a footballer has made the slip up. Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos did the same in 2011 after a Champions League knockout game against Lyon when he lamented not getting the three points in the first leg.
Despite the mistake, Vidal played well against Cultural. He was one of the first team players who took the lead in the absence of many regulars.
Vidal didn't want to comment on the recent social media issues when he expressed his disappointment at not playing more regularly: "It's a closed issue. Like the coach said, it stays in the dressing room."
