Arthur, who was surrounded by his family, spoke to the Barcelona fans for the first time in Catalan
Arthur Melo is a Barcelona player for the next six seasons. After passing his medical, Arthur went to the Camp Nou where he was greeted by Barcelona's president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, and various other executives who had participated in the negotiations to bring the Brazilian to the club.
Alongside Bartomeu, Arthur signed his new contract with Barcelona. During this moment he was surrounded by his family who have accompanied him on this special day for the Brazilian. Arthur has been taking photos with them throughout the facilities this morning as he wears his new club's shirt.
Afterwards, at the presentation and following the Bartomeu's 'welcome' message, Arthur spoke to Barcelona fans for the first time - and he did so in Catalan. "Estic molt feliç d'estar aquí (I'm very happy to be here). Visca el Barça i Visca Catalunya!"
