Arthur will not be going to World Cup - Brazil squad
Barcelona's next signing has not been called up by coach Tite
Arthur will have to wait. Tite has decided not to include the Gremio and future FC Barcelona playmaker, in his 23 man squd for the World Cup. The Brazil coach decided to bring the more experienced Taison, 30, of Shakhtar Donestsk to Russia instead.
That means that Arthur, 21, could travel to Barcelona during the tournament, before starting a mini pre-season before the second half of their campaign.
Barca duo Paulinho and Philippe Coutinho are in the squad, the latter for his first World Cup.
