Valverde wanted to keep the same balance as at Wembley
Arthur earned another start for Barcelona. The Brazilian midfielder impressed at Wembley in the win over Tottenham, and was given a start against Valencia at Mestalla. Ernesto Valverde picked the same midfield as in the Champions League, Busquets, Arthur, Ivan Rakitic and Philippe Coutinho. A 4-4-2 in defence that transforms into 4-3-3 in attack, with Coutinho the man making the transition.
Arthur's presence means Ousmane Dembele must ride the bench again as he did at Wembley.
