Arsenal will go for Coutinho if they can't keep Madrid's Odegaard
The London club want to sign an attacking midfielder this summer
Philippe Coutinho's future could be at Arsenal. The Gunners, who have been linked with the Brazilian previously, will move for the Barcelona man if they're not able to keep hold of Martin Odegaard, currently on loan from Real Madrid.
According to the Daily Express on Wednesday, Coutinho is Arsenal's Plan B due to the fact they have a really good relationship with Kia Joorabchian, the player's agent

However, the London club's priority is to sit down and negotiate with Madrid to keep Odegaard following his impressive performances since joining in January.
It remains to be seen what Madrid's decision will be, but if they don't want to let the Norway international go, Arsenal will turn their attention to Coutinho.
It's come out in recent days that Barça will have to pay 20 million euros to Liverpool if Coutinho plays 100 games for the club -- he's currently on 90 -- so the club's finances could benefit from a sale this summer. It's not just about what they can bring in for him, but saving that 20 million.
Remember that it's in England where Coutinho played his best football. He developed at Liverpool, earning his move to Barça in 2018.
