Arsenal interested in signing Barcelona's Brazilian goalkeeper Neto

Neto wants to leave to find regular football ahead of next season

The problem is finding a club who can match his Camp Nou salary

Barcelona are working hard on Operation Exit. Sporting director Mateui Alemany has intensified contact with half of Europe amid the immense challenge of placing as many as 10 players in new teams this summer, many with salaries impossible to pay except in the Premier League.

What the club expect is that many will go out on loan because it's practically impossible to save on their salaries and get a transfer fee at the same time. There is interest in several players, but not many acceptable offers yet from Barça's point of view.

One of the players on the market is goalkeeper Neto. The Brazilian is drawing interest and Barça expect him to leave. He has a big salary and teams like Valencia and Villarreal, who would like to sign him, can probably not afford to pay it.

Arsenal are also keen on him, though, and with Leno set to move to Fulham, they will be looking for a new stopper, although the salary is still a hurdle. If he wants to play regularly, though, Neto and other players will have to lower their wages.
