According to Marca, Arsenal are interested in signing Barcelona B forward Jose Arnaiz. The newspaper say they are willing to pay his release clause in the winter window.
Arnaiz arrived at Barca for 3.5m and has been impressive in his first appearances for the club, scoring in both Copa del Rey games against Murcia.
These performances interested various clubs and Arsenal could stump up the 20m euro fee. However there is an important problem - he has already played for Valladolid at the start of the season, as well as Barca - and FIFA do not allow players to feature for three clubs in the same campaign.
