Ahmet Bulut believes the midfielder will continue at Camp Nou next season

He also spoke about Turan quitting the Turkey team and rumours he lost money

Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan plans to continue at the club, where he has a contract until 2020. That's what his agent Ahmet Bulut has expressed in an interview with Esports COPE on Wednesday.

"Nobody from Barça has been in touch to say that Arda is transferable. So for the moment our plan is to continue here next season. I’ve not spoken with any club from anywhere in the world [about a transfer]. But if Barça say they don’t count on Arda, then it will be another story," Bulut said.

"HE LIKES Valverde"

The Turkish player's agent added that "Arda has three years on his contract. He's happy in Barcelona. It’s true it’s not been an easy season for him because he suffered injuries and the second half of the season wasn’t too good... but Arda is happy. And, of course, he likes the appointment of Ernesto Valverde as coach."

QUITTING TURKEY

Bulut also commented on Arda's decision to bring an end to his time with his national team after a clash with a journalist on a plane: "It was a difficult decision, but properly thought through. He’s been going over it for a while. And he felt that now was the moment to leave the national team."

He added that one reasons was "because everyone was talking about Arda, Arda, Arda… He felt he was always in the spotlight and not the national team. What happened? It’s a long story, but Arda is fine. The decision has been taken and his time with the Turkish national team has ended."

casino RUMOUR...

Bulut was also asked about rumours Arda lost a lot of money in a casino: "Arda has never bet. It’s not true he lost a fortune in a casino. It is slander, so we have left it in the hands of our lawyers and we will take those that published it to court because it’s completely false."
