Arda Turan has the support of Luis Enrique & the Barcelona players

Everyone is keen for the Turkish forward to ignore offers from China and remain at Camp Nou

Arda Turan is a peculiar footballer, irregular in form, but with a great character. He's capable of getting fans off their seats at Camp Nou -- for the good and for the bad. He's one of those that captures a supporter's imagination for reasons which are difficult to explain, reasons which go beyond his numbers, his goals or his assists.

And while his personality doesn't go unnoticed in the stands, nor does it with his teammates and coaches at Barça, who are all in agreement that he should ignore the offers which are arriving from China.

The club don't necessarily think it would be a bad deal if the numbers talked about (around 40 million euros) are confirmed, but the players and the staff prefer him to complete his contract. Arda arrived in 2015, signed by the club's electoral committee, and has terms agreed until 2020.

For Luis Enrique, he's a fundamental player. He's not a starting forward (the trident are untouchable), nor a starting midfielder, but he's usually his manager's first change and the fourth forward when one of the MSN is missing. And for his teammates, Arda is especially loved: a joker and spontaneous, the Turkish international is one of the players who makes the dressing room.

Especially loved for his way of being, as well as valued for his play. "When he was at Atletico he was already a great player, and now, too, I really like him," Iniesta said just three days ago, a fan of Arda's football, who this season has scored two hat-tricks (against Borussia Monchengladbach and Hercules) and is the side's third top scorer.

With 11 goals (two in the league, four in Europe, two in the cup and two in the Super Cup), only Lionel Messi (23) and Luis Suarez (15) have scored more than him. Both the coaches and the players value his contribution after initially struggling to adapt following six months out the side when he joined from Atletico due to FIFA's transfer ban.
