Arda Turan has a fever and could miss Real Sociedad game
The Turkish international missed training on Friday and may be absent this weekend
Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan could miss Sunday’s game at Real Sociedad with a fever. The club released a statement on Friday which revealed the player missed training.
“First team player Arda Turan was unable to take part due to a fever. His evolution will determine his availibility for the coming training sessions,” the club said.
Remember that Arda played 90 minutes in the last league game against Malaga, while at Celtic Park on Wednesday he came on for Ivan Rakitic for the final 12 minutes.
If he’s ruled out of the game at Anoeta, where Barça have struggled in recent years, and keeping in mind Andre Gomes played the entire game in Glasgow, the options to replace the injured Andres Iniesta could be Rafinha and Denis Suarez.
