Araujo in, Pjanic out: Defender set for Sevilla return in key league game

| sport

The Uruguay international stepped up his recovery work on Friday

Hours before travelling to Sevilla for Saturday's vital La Liga game (16.15h CET), Barcelona trained at the Ciutat Esportiva.

Barça go into the fixture at the Sanchez Pizjuan third, two points ahead of Sevilla but having played a game more than Julen Lopetegui's side.

Defender Ronald Araujo trained again, although he has not yet received the green light to return to competitive action.

Ronald Koeman will announce the squad for the Sevilla game later on Friday, by which point Araujo could have been cleared to play.

However, Miralem Pjanic is unlikely to be involved. The Bosnian midfielder missed training on Friday with a slight problem.

For that reason, Ilaix Moriba, who wasn't involved in midweek, was called up to train with the first team and could travel to Seville.
