The French forward made a collective agreement with his team-mates and the Catalan giants

Barcelona are continuously studying formulas to make the Antoine Griezmann swap deal happen. They need him off the wage bill.

Griezmann is not up for losing any of his money, however, and is part of a collective pandemic deal that he doesn’t want to break. It was signed by all the squad in unison.

For now he’s given Barca the green light to negotiate with Atletico. He accepts a return there and is not asking for special compensation for leaving, just that conditions already set out are respected and that Barca and Atletico agree on the formula.

He has no clause in his contract that says the rest of the deal must be paid off, or anything like that.

Griezmann will arrive on Tuesday to Barcelona and will start training under Ronald Koeman, but may not be at the club for much longer.
