Ansu Fati's new medical statement after Copa del Rey injury
The Barcelona forward will not be able to play for a couple of months
Ansu Fati could not finish the Copa del Rey game against Athletic Club on Thursday and had to go off in tears.
The forward has a hamstring injury in his left leg.
Barcelona published a medical statement on Friday saying “first team player Ansu Fati has an injury in the proximal tendon of his left hamstring, in the coming days the treatment he will take will be decided.”
He will be out for a while, almost guaranteed to miss the club’s next league games and the Europa League double header against Napoli, with estimations saying he will be missing for two months.
