Ansu Fati wears the Barcelona captain's armband for the first time
The Spanish forward has been out for a long time but this could be his year
Ansu Fati was one of the protagonists in the second half of Barcelona’s first friendly of the season, against Olot, a 1-1 draw. The youngster came on in the second half and did so wearing the captain’s armband. That shows the No 10’s importance at Barcelona. Everyone is hoping that it could be his year.
The 19 year old forward is still a teenager but was one of the more experienced members of the squad in the friendly. It’s been a while since he’s been able to play and he wanted to go carefully.
Despite Ousmane Dembele’s contract renewal and Raphinha’s arrival, Ansu will be key this season.
