Ansu Fati makes full Barcelona debut in Liga game against Valencia
The forward has previously made two appearances from the bench for the first team
Ansu Fati made his first Barcelona start in Saturday's league game against Valencia at Camp Nou having come off the bench in the last two games.
The teenager became the youngest player to play for Barça in La Liga since the 1940s when he came on against Real Betis in August. A week later, still aged 16, he became their youngest ever Liga scorer when he netted in the draw with Osasuna.
That earned him a place in the starting lineup against Valencia, with Ernesto Valverde rewarding him for his good performances.
Antoine Griezmann and Carles Perez joined him in attack, with Luis Suarez fit again but only for a place on the bench from the start.
In midfield, Valverde opted for Sergio Busquets, Frenkie de Jong and Arthur Melo -- the Brazilian making his first start of the season after scoring as a substitute at Osasuna.
Full team: Ter Stegen, Semedo, Piqué, Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Busquets, Arthur, De Jong, Carles Pérez, Griezmann, Ansu Fati.
