The Barça teenager could make international bow against Montenegro on Tuesday

All eyes are fixed on Ansu Fati on Tuesday as we wait to see if he will make his debut for Spain U21s against Montenegro in a qualifier for the 2021 U21 European Championships.

If the Barcelona forward does take to the pitch, he will become the 45th player to debut under Luis de la Fuente since the coach replaced Albert Celades in the summer of 2018.

In addition, Ansu would become the 26th player to feature in this qualification phase. It's a clear sign of the renovation Spain's U21 side are undergoing since winning the Euros in the summer in Italy.

It's worth pointing out that de la Fuente can make up to five substitutions in the game, so there are plenty of chances for Ansu to get on to the pitch. However, only three of those changes can be made in the second half.
