The young forward might be able to make the clash with the Bavarians

The draw with Benfica leaves Barcelona heading to Munich in need of a big result on December 8. Xavi is crossing his fingers and hoping Ansu Fati is fit to play.

The young forward suffered a hamstring injury against Celta at Balaidos. It’s been a rocky year for the youngster, out with many knee operations. It’s best not to take risks. But the player is coming along well and they will even look to see if he can have some minutes against Real Betis on December 4.

Only in that case will Xavi decide whether to risk him against Bayern, perhaps in the final stages like with Dembele against Benfica.

Those two players add a lot to Barcelona’s attack.

Despite Ansu’s injury woes, he’s the second top goalscorer this season with four, behind Memphis Depay on seven goals. The next are Pique, Sergi Roberto and Braithwaite, on two each.
