It was not the best day for Barcelona as they drew 1-1 with Athletic Bilbao at home. Lionel Messi came on from the bench and helped rescue a point, setting up Munir El Haddadi for the equaliser.
Messi was fired up after coming on, so much so that he got a booking for arguing with the referee after the full-time whistle. Messi is not used to being benched. As captain he came on with fire in his boots to turn things around, to flip the proverbial tortilla.
He nearly did it, hitting the post and giving a great example for his team-mates. After the game he argued with referee Jaime Latre and Barca delegate Carles Naval came over to take Messi away to make sure the situation didn't get any worse.
