Angel Cappa: Without Messi, Barcelona would be 10th

Former Argentina coach Angel Cappa has both attacked and defended Lionel Messi in an interview with Radio Mitre. He was speaking after Maradona lashed out at Messi and said that he "went to the toilet 20 times before a game".
Cappa, after being asked about what his compatriot said, replied: "I agree, you shouldn't deify Messi, he's from Earth, the rest is marketing."
"I agree. We must not deify Messi. It is an earthly player, the rest is marketing, "he said.
However, the former Barca assistant coach wanted to clarify that "without Messi, Barcelona would be tenth. He's saved them in many games."
Cappa also said Leo should go back to the Argentina squad, but not yet. "We must get him in again but it doesn't make sense to call him up for these games."
On Scaloni, the interim coach, Cappa said: "He does not have enough experience to continue in charge of the national team, I like Pochettino."
