Andres Iniesta warns Barcelona board over Busquets
The playmaker says it would be an error to let a player like the defensive midfielder get away
FC Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta has warned the Barcelona board over Sergio Busquets. The defensive midifelder has had trouble getting the board to stick to their word and give him a new, improved contract.
Iniesta was clear with his messsge. "It would be a huge error if Busuqets did not continue at Barca, for what he means as a player, but I don't think that whill happen because he's got a lot more years left in him and I understand he's a fundamental player.
"I don't know the personal situation, but the club should not allow doubts that this would happen. I don't think the club will allow it."
Busquets recently said he would like more recognition for what he does.
