The midfielder came on in the second half on Sunday

Barça saw their lead in La Liga cut back to seven points

Andres Iniesta spoke in the mixed zone about Barcelona's 0-0 draw against Getafe. The midfielder, who came on in the second half, said it didn't seem as if "something was missing".

"It's not that something was missing, we struggled to play with pace and continuity, but because of how the game went today. Getafe are always an uncomfortable side to play against and they don't leave you that space to find that continuity. As the game went on, it was difficult and it proved impossible [to get the breakthrough], even though we tried until the end," Iniesta told Barça TV.

Asked about Getafe's planning, he added: "When a team shuts up shop their chances reduce [of winning], but then it's up to us to be effective and quick against these systems."

On the busy calendar facing Barça, he said: "These are the busy months of the season and we're obliged to do well in all three competitions. There's wear and tear and you always try to make sure these things like today don't happen, but at the end of the day they do happen. We have to analyse the game, like always, rest and come back to compete next weekend."
