The captain said Barcelona are paying for errors they made earlier in the campaign

However he said the team would keep trying and hope Madrid slip up before the end

Andres Iniesta highlighted Barcelona’s good play in their 4-1 win over Villarreal on Saturday afternoon. “We knew that they could do us damage on the counter attack but we played very well, both through the middle and out wide, and the people up front can always unbalance sides.”

The captain said “we were effective and achieved our objective” in the 4-1 win, putting pressure on Real Madrid.

Regarding dropped points against teams like Alaves and Malaga, Iniesta admitted: “They make us very angry because they are points we lost, but we will hope until the end. We have to keep going until the last game.”
