The Portuguese has not been included in the Clasico squad
André Gomes has been dropped again, with Ernesto Valverde leaving him out of the Clasico squad for Sunday. Barcelona host Real Madrid and it is clear that the coach doesn't count on the Portuguese midfielder.
Since the game on April 17, where Celta drew 2-2 with Barca at Balaidos, Gomes has been left out. He was not included in the Copa del Rey final squad, and despite travelling to Deportivo La Coruna for the game where Barca won the league, he was not included in the matchday squad.
Gomes has a contract until 2021 and a release clause of 100m euros, though Barca will accept much less for the player they paid 35m euros for two seasons ago from Valencia.
