Andre Gomes, close to Tottenham move for 30m euros
The midfielder is on loan at Everton and has done well in the Premier League
Andre Gomes will be one of the first players Barcelona cash in on this summer. SPORT have learned that Tottenham have agreed with his representatives to make an offer of around 30 million euros (including variables) to Barcelona. That has the approval of Andre, who is keen on a Spurs move.
Last summer Gomes decided to leave Barca after failing to fit in. At Everton on loan he has shone. They are interested in keeping him too but Tottenham’s offer is more likely to succeed.
Gomes’s agents (Wasserman) met Tottenham execs last week to put the final points on their offer. Barca are waiting for the offer to arrive.
Another player liked in London is Malcom. The Barca winger is also interesting to Tottenham.
However that deal is not advanced. There is interest but it’s not close to fruition.
