André Gomes and Aleñá, additions to the squad against Madrid
The Portuguese has been called up to replace the injured Iniesta
Valverde has increased the squad to 19 players and called up Aleñá
Ernesto Valverde has named his squad for the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup against Real Madrid tonight. There were no surprises other than the absence of Andrés Iniesta due to injury. André Gomes takes his place in the squad and Carles Aleñá has been added to make a squad of 19.
André Gomes was passed fit, after taking a blow in the friendly against Tarragona, just before the first leg but was not included in the squad for the game. Aleñá has been added to the squad in case anything happens to any of the 18 others.
Vermaelen and Rafinha also miss out due to injury. Munir, Samper, Arda, and Douglas have not been selected by the manager. These four already know they have to find new clubs if they want to play.
