The former Barça scout, who is close to Neymar, has spoke about Messi's future

With the end of the season approaching, the speculation surrounding Lionel Messi's future is growing. The football world is waiting to see what the Argentine decides to do next with his Barcelona contract expiring in June.

The latest to speak about Messi's next move is Andre Cury, Barça's former scout in Brazil who is very close to Neymar. Cury is convinced that Messi will stay at Camp Nou and will be "happy again" with a new winning project led by new president Joan Laporta.

"I am almost certain that Messi will stay at Barcelona, will be happy there again, and that they will build a good new team around him and in one or two years will be the No.1 in the world again," Cury told Radio Contiental.

"Leo's home is Barcelona and Argentina. Leo loves Argentina, he gives everything for the national team, and also for Barcelona. What annoys him is that he wanted a competitive team.

"The club told him they were going to do that, that they were going to sign this guy and then signed another. But Leo keeps out of all that.

"I know Messi's history with Barcelona, he has a really good relationship with Laporta, who's now back. There are a lot of positives."
