Amor: There's a chance Bartomeu's contacted Griezmann's family
He did not 100 per cent confirm or deny it but it seems likely
He said that Barcelona are supposed to be talking to players
There has been speculation for weeks about the possibility of Antoine Griezmann joining Barcelona next season. He is liked by the club, who think he would fit in well.
Barcelona's director of institutional relations, Guillermo Amor, spoke to Movistar and asked if the Barcelona board had spoken with Griezmann's family, as speculated by the media. He did not confirm it 100 percent, or deny it, but it seems like the answer is yes.
"Yes, there's a possibility that Bartomeu has spoken with them. Our obligation is to make contact with the players," said the former Barca player.
Amor's words landed around the same time there were reproaches against the player on Twitter for a photo in which he dressed up with 'blackface', causing a racism storm on the social media network.
